The Mountain View Wild Acts
Welcome to the Mountain View Wild-Act Home Page. Here, you will find information on upcoming events, links to important websites and much more.  The Wild-Acts are responsible for the various productions throughout the year.  We typically produce 2 major productions a year; a straight production in the fall and a musical in the spring. During winter, we participate in the District One-Act Play Festival.  This year, we will also participate in the Virgina Theatre Association One Act Competition.  If you have any questions, feel free to ask Mr. Clark, Mrs. Carter or Mr. Hokanson.
Hey Wild-Acts!
Wild Act Meeting Highlights
Dear Wild Act Member:

In case you missed our last meeting on Thursday April 5th, I need to draw your attention to the summary of what was discussed:

  • Mr. Hokanson is looking for some volunteers to help build the set for the spring play. He will be working on Saturday April 21st and Saturday April 28th. Stop by my room, 104 to sign up to help build or see Mr. Hokanson.
  • Mr. Clark needs volunteers to help put up the display case for the spring play “Arsenic and Old Lace.” See him in room 104 to sign up to help design and put it up.
  • Remember that you may only ask about Thespian points during a two week window after any Wild Act performances. So do not start bothering Mrs. Carter until around May 14-28th
  • There is the possibility of perhaps doing an after school field trip to the Kennedy Center to see a comedic Kyogen play in May…stay tuned.
  • There will be auditions in June for replacement cast members for “Blow By Blow” to take to VTA.
  • We will have awards balloting for our end of year party in June.
The turnout for the April meeting was disappointing. You need to be an active member of you school clubs.
